Fantastic

My cousin and I spent a couple of days in Apalachicola and stayed on the Tequila Sunrise for two nights. We couldn't have had a more perfect location, from a fantastic sunrise to an easy walk to everything in town. The houseboat was clean, comfortable, and private without feeling isolated. Absolutely everything was as advertised and even better. I will not only rent from here again, but have already recommended Florida Houseboat Rentals to friends who want to get away for a couple of days in a nice slice of Old Florida.

Fun Filled Weekend

It's hard to know where to begin...sunrises are incredible, as are the sunsets. Our boat captain picked us up at our porch for a successful day of fishing, and our catch was spread across two nights of delicious eating. The first night we walked our fish over to one of the local restaurants and let them do the work, the second night we cooked right in the Tequila Sunrise, which had everything we needed to make a gourmet meal right at home! This is our second time returning to the houseboats, and we can't wait for our third!

Great stay

My wife and I just spent our 43rd anniversary in Appalachicola and stayed on the Tequila Sunrise, we had a wonderful experience with the proximity of restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Our fishing guide picked us up and dropped us off right at the patio which was very convenient. This houseboat was very clean and comfortable and extremely relaxing being able to sit in the screened in patio watching the world go by, we will be back!

Tequila Sunrise

What a find!!! We absolutely love these houseboats. This was our second time there. We stayed at Reelaxation previously and loved it so much we booked for Thanksgiving. The view is incredible. We saw all sorts of birds, dolphin, river otter, turtles and lots of fish to catch....catfish, croaker, bass and gar. Karen makes this so special. You have absolutely everything you need in this little hideaway. Pure paradise... Our goal is to stay in all five of these boathouses. Can’t wait to return......

A fun weekend!

Thank for the opportunity to spend a weekend at the Tequila Sunrise!! It was a nice getaway for a few days. Looking forward to visiting the other houseboats in the future. I shared some pictures on Facebook and a few of my friends are planning to book a stay on one of your houseboats soon!!

Awesome Getaway

During my recent visit to Appalachicola in November for the Seafood Festival, I stayed on the Tequila Sunrise, and I must say that this was by far one of the most enjoyable trips that I have been on. This houseboat was clean, quaint, and so close to all of the activities taking place right in the heart of Appalachicola. The locked parking lot provides security and safety and the amenities were wonderful addition. The outside seating area allowed for a time to enjoy a delicious meal straight from the grill while watching the boats cruising along the waterway and enjoying the gorgeous sunset. I am already booked for another trip for spring break and I can’t wait to visit my home away from home. Also, a huge thank you to Karen and her hospitality!

Amazing weekend

We stayed on the Tequila Sunrise this past weekend and had a great time. The place was very cute and well kept. Amazing location and view. We will definitely go back again!
